Sunday Services - in the building

Every Sunday we meet at 9am and 11am for services in the building. Anyone is welcome to our services, and there is no need to book or show a Covid passport.

Our 9am service is a more traditional style Church of England service, with communion shared most weeks. At 11am, the feel is more informal and there are groups for children and young people (3-16s) as well as a supervised creche for under-3s.

For those unable to make church in-person due to ill-health or needing to self-isolate, a live stream of the 11am service is available on our YouTube channel. A recording of just the sermon will be available  from Monday. See here for more information.

What measures are you taking to keep services safe?

All over-11s who attend the building are now required to wear a mask, unless medical or other exemptions apply. If you forget your mask, we have some available by the door.

We continue to encourage hand-sanitising on the entrance to the building; clean touchable surfaces between services; and leave windows and doors open for ventilation.

We enjoy singing together during services, and ask that at the 9am especially, masks remain worn during singing for the sake of the most vulnerable.

Children join the whole church family at the start of the service and leave for their groups mid-way through the service. Under-11s are not required to wear masks.

We share communion together at certain services. This will happen by coming to the front and receiving bread dipped into the wine by those presiding. There will be no sharing of a common cup.

We stay for tea & coffee after our services, but encourage mask wearing when not eating or drinking.

We hope that these measures allow all of us to gather together in-person over the coming months.
