NEW COURSES START THE WEEK OF MONDAY 15th APRIL 2024

There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by. So where can we find a hope that won’t disappoint us? And is it possible to find real peace in the midst of so much anxiety? And what really is the purpose of life?

Hope Explored is a short three-week course that begins to look at whether Christianity can offer an answer to those questions. It is relaxed, informal and you won't be asked to pray, sing or read aloud. You are free to ask any questions you like or if you prefer you can just come along and listen.

Who is Hope Explored for?
It's for anyone who is looking for hope. Whether you have previous experience of Church, Christians and the Bible, or none at all, this course is for you. Everyone is welcome!

What goes on?
There’s a video to watch, a dip into an account of Jesus' life and something to discuss.  We start at with a brew and make sure the session lasts no more than 90 minutes.

Of course, if you wish, you are welcome to stick around a bit longer and discuss any further issues you might have. What’s more, you can ask any question you like, at any time during the course.

Where and when does it start?
We're running a number of courses in and around Southport the week beginning Monday 15th April. So far we have a course on a Monday (6pm at the St Simon's Parents' Cafe) and Wednesday (7.45pm in Hesketh Bank).

If there's not a course that suits your availability, let us know and we'll try to run one. If you're interested in joining or want to know more, please email Andy & Annie Liggins at explore@stsimonsouthport.org.uk.
