HOPE EXPLORED

* COME AND JOIN US NEXT TIME - EMAIL OR CALL FOR DATE OF NEXT COURSE *

There are few emotions more powerful than hope. But these days, hope often feels hard to come by. So where can we find a hope that won’t disappoint us? And is it possible to find real peace in the midst of so much anxiety? And what really is the purpose of life?

Hope Explored is a short three-week course that begins to look at whether Christianity can offer an answer to those questions. It is relaxed, informal and you won't be asked to pray, sing or read aloud. You are free to ask any questions you like or if you prefer you can just come along and listen. No question is too simple or too sceptical.

Who is Hope Explored for?
It's for anyone who is looking for hope. Whether you have previous experience of Church, Christians and the Bible, or none at all, this course is for you. Everyone is welcome!

What goes on?
There’s a video to watch, a dip into an account of Jesus' life and something to discuss.  We start at with a brew and make sure the session lasts no more than 90 minutes, finishing at 9pm.

Of course, if you wish, you are welcome to stick around a bit longer and discuss any further issues you might have. What’s more, you can ask any question you like, at any time during the course.

Where and when does it start?
The next three week course will be in September, but other similar courses are running before then.

If you're interested in joining or want to know more, please email Andy & Annie Liggins at explore@stsimonsouthport.org.uk. Or if there's not a course that suits your availability, let us know and we'll try to run one.

H 5Hayley says: Hope Explored was a course that started me on my spiritual journey to finding Christianity. The warm welcoming environment made it feel like I was going to a friend’s house for a coffee and a chat. The themed weeks of hope, peace and purpose, really made me start asking the questions that led to me buying my first bible. Questions that were always answered with respect and no judgement. I would highly recommend this course.
